We are based in the United Kingdom. Our Service is available to users worldwide, and we aim to comply with applicable data protection laws including the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and other relevant regional privacy laws.

2. What information we collect

Account information: name, email address, and password (stored securely and never in plain text) when you sign up.

Content you create: routines, formations, tags, notes, and any images you upload as part of using the tactics board or AI-assisted routine capture (if applicable).

Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details ourselves — Stripe handles this directly.

Usage information: basic technical data such as browser type, device type, and general usage patterns, used to maintain and improve the Service.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the Service (creating your account, saving your routines, displaying your dashboard)
• Process payments and manage subscriptions, where applicable
• Communicate with you about your account (e.g. confirmation emails, password resets)
• Maintain the security and integrity of the Service
• Improve the Service based on how it's used

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers necessary to run the Service:

• Supabase — for authentication, database, and file storage
• Stripe — for payment processing, where applicable
• Resend — for sending account-related emails (confirmations, password resets)
• [AI provider, e.g. Anthropic/OpenAI] — if you use AI-assisted routine capture, images you upload are sent to a third-party AI provider for processing. Source images are not retained by us after processing.

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices and is only given the information needed to perform its function.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Set Piece Studio or our users.

5. Data retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and content within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain certain information for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights including the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to or restrict certain processing

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage, access controls, and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States, by our service providers (e.g. Supabase, Stripe). Where this happens, we rely on those providers' compliance with applicable data protection frameworks.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
